The new Head & Shoulders Moisture Care line promises to control itching and irritation while providing intense hydration to keep your style perfect all day long. I got the Head & Shoulders Moisture Care 2 in 1, Co-Wash, and Scalp Soother for free from BzzAgent to test and review in exchange for my honest opinion. I have mixed (black and white) hair that gets tangled easily, does not keep a style for very long and tends to lose hydration throughout the day, and itches from irritation from shampoos and conditioners. I was so excited to try this line because I did not know that Head & Shoulders made anything other than their classic dandruff shampoo.

I have always been cautious of 2 in 1 shampoos and conditioners because they are usually focused on all shampoo and little conditioning, leaving you with sticky, dull, and tangled hair. They usually leave residue and flakes like crazy!! The Head & Shoulders Moisture Care 2 in 1 is formulated for textured hair to keep your scalp moisturized and to keep itchiness and flakes away. This 2 in 1 is made with vitamin e rich almond oil and coconut essence which makes this experience more enjoyable! I have used the 2 in 1 for 2 weeks and I can say I love this since the first use. The smell is amazing but not overpowering. Smells very slightly of coconut which is good but I think it could smell more like coconut. The consistency of the 2 in 1 is like their classic dandruff shampoo, kind of runny and opaque. I thought that there was no conditioners added until I felt my hair after rinsing it out. It made my hair soft, shiny, tangle and irritation free. It rinsed easy and clean. It left no residue or build-up. This 2 in 1 really did deliver the remedy to my hair issues. A very surprising side to the Head & Shoulders brand.

I have never used a co-wash before and did not even know how to use one. The instructions on the bottle did not really specify on exactly how to use this product. I looked up on the Head & Shoulders website to see if they explain what a co-wash is. It works like a 2 in 1 but instead uses very gentle cleansing and focuses more on the conditioning aspect. You can use this with a shampoo or 2 in 1 prior to using the co-wash. I used this after using the Moisture Care 2 in 1 for extra conditioning. It also smelled refreshing and slightly like coconut. I needed a palm full to cover all of my long hair. It did not weigh my hair down, have any residue or build-up. This co-wash did not leave my hair dry. My hair was very hydrated from roots to ends, which is unlike any conditioner I have ever used. It also kept the irritation away and I scratched only a couple times throughout the whole day. I had no irritation or tight feeling scalp and it kept my style in place all day.

I used the Scalp Soother on the rare occasions that I did feel an itch or irritation that required scratching. When I felt the itch, I would point the nozzle onto the itchy spot and spray 1 or 2 times. This product is formulated with vitamin e and peppermint oil to provide instant relief from irritation and a cooling sensation to prevent more itchiness. It cools and re-moisturizes the scalp and is great for using in between washes and for fixed styles like braids or extensions to freshen up your scalp. It can be used on wet or dry hair and gives the same result. You can also use this over your entire scalp. The smell of peppermint is so refreshing. I smelled like peppermint all day just from the 1 or 2 pumps. It would instantly stop the itching as well as make my scalp not feel so tight in the area I sprayed. The effect lasted a good 3 hours. This scalp soother really did refresh my hair and mood all day as well as kept my style fresh and moisturized keeping the flakes away so I could get on with my day without having to worry.
